New Year resolutions
Listen to this Insight
Happy new year!! May we all have a great 2023 filled with success, love and laughter. Let's dive into it. What are some of your new year resolutions? I know most people choose to keep theirs a secret, believing that sharing may jinx it. But it would be nice to read some. Top of my list for this year, is to be more intentional, and less afraid of going for what I desire. While I await your responses though, I'd also like to ask another question. How honest are we when we make some of our new year resolutions? Are we really sincere about the things we aim to change or continue in our lives? Or do we just follow the trend and tradition? I have met some people who actually do not believe in making new year resolutions. To them, it is absurd to wait for the start of a new year to change or be motivated about certain things. They do have a point though; if we are aware that certain areas of our lives, require some adjustments, why can't we resolve to do it? Irrespective of whether is a new year or not. But I also get the feeling of a fresh start that comes with a new year. Maybe that's why most of us are swayed towards making new year resolutions. After all, a fresh start requires a fresh approach. Right? I would really love to get your opinions on this. On what side are you? Anyway, here's me hoping that we have the strength and determination to actually implement our resolutions (to those to made any). Once again, happy new year.
