Studies have demonstrated that bilingual students exhibits better memory and concentration, problem-solving skills, increased creativity, and fast learning and adaptation. In a world where mental acuity is increasingly valuable, it is necessary that we take advantage of this.      Secondly, language skills are essential for building bridges between cultures. Companies are looking for employees who can communicate effectively with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. By teaching more languages in schools, we are preparing the students to succeed in an international workforce and fostering greater cross-cultural understanding.     Moreso, language education has the power to break down stereotypes and promote empathy. When individuals or students learn a new language, they gain a window into a new culture and perspective. This can help to dispel harmful misconceptions and promote tolerance, empathy, and global citizenship.     Lastly, teaching more languages in institutions is a matter of social justice. In many communities, language barriers prevent individuals from accessing essential services, participating in civic life, and reaching their full potential. By providing language education, we can help level the playing field and empower marginalized communities.      In conclusion, bilingual education offers a wide range of cognitive, language, cultural, academic, and economic benefits. Schools need to catch up with the demands of the 21stcentury and teach more languages as it unlocks cognitive potentials, foster global citizenship, promote social justice, and prepare the individuals to thrive in an interconnected world. It is essential that we recognize the power of language and give to the next generation bilingual education.
